Steve Carell Is Back on TV with New Comedy Show on Netflix Called ‘Space Force’ – Watch the Trailer

Steve Carell is back television on with a new comedy show for the first time since the release of The Office 15 years ago in the new Netflix show titled Space Force!

In the show, Steve Carell plays the part of a decorated pilot with dreams of running the Air Force, four-star general Mark R. Naird (Steve Carell) is thrown for a loop when he finds himself tapped to lead the newly formed sixth branch of the US Armed Forces: Space Force.

Skeptical but dedicated, Mark uproots his family and moves to a remote base in Colorado where he and a colorful team of scientists and “Spacemen” are tasked by the White House with getting American boots on the moon (again) in a hurry and achieving total space dominance.

Carell is joined by an insanely talented cast with John Malkovich co-starring as head science advisor Dr. Adrian Mallory, Lisa Kudrow playing Mark’s wife Maggie and an ensemble that includes Ben Schwartz (Parks and Recreation), Noah Emmerich (The Americans), Jimmy O. Yang (Silicon Valley), Fred Willard (Modern Family) and Jessica St. Clair (Playing House).

The show will debut on Netflix on May 29! Watch the trailer below:
